Shipping Policy


Shipping Carrier

Precious Hammer Jewelry Studio takes the utmost care and precaution when shipping items. All jewelry orders are insured and tracked via Fed-Ex or UPS 2-day delivery unless otherwise requested. Some orders may require a signature.


Insured Shipping

We strongly suggest Insured Shipping. Precious Hammer is not liable for any lost or stolen packages during transit and it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the carrier office if a package goes missing or arrives damaged.


Tracking Your Order

You will receive an email with a link to your tracking number when your order leaves our studio, so you can follow its journey right to your door. If your package is lost in transit, please contact your local carrier. If you purchased Insured shipping you can file a claim, so they can begin the attempt to recover or refund you for the lost package.


Processing & Production Time

In-stock items that need no modifications or ring sizing will be shipped usually within 3-4 days (excluding weekends and holidays) of your order being placed. 


Usually, Studio Design orders take 2-4 weeks, and Custom orders 2-6 weeks to process and produce, but production time typically increases during product releases and holidays. Please keep in mind that we are a small business and create everything by hand, just for you!


We will try and accommodate rush orders or overnight delivery requests within the United States. Notify us of your special requests in the comment section of your order form.


International Orders

We do not take or process phone or online orders where the billing and/or the shipping address are overseas (to any foreign country) at this time.


Sales Tax

Precious Hammer is located in Oregon which does not have sales tax. Therefore no sales tax at the time of purchase will be collected. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to report the sale in their own state.


P.O. Box

Only orders to physical street addresses within the US can be shipped FedEx or UPS. Orders to P.O. Box addresses must be shipped through the US Post Office and may take additional time to arrive. Your package should arrive within 3-5 days of the shipping date when sent through the US Post Office to a US address (non Military). 


Change Or Cancel My Order Once Placed

Due to the high volume of orders and our handmade process, we cannot allow for changes or cancellations to be made, so please be sure to double-check your order before placing it.  In the event you need to make a change after submitting, there is a $15 fee.  To do so please email us at studio@precioushammer.com.


Redirecting Orders

We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched, so please supply an address where you will be there to receive the package or it is safe to leave unattended. If you wish to redirect your parcel, please contact UPS. Make sure you provide accurate shipping details, as customers are held liable for any fees incurred for orders returned to us for inaccurate delivery information.
